The company where I work has changed its IT infrastructure with regard to its virtualization IT servers. The goal was to replace its several-year-old servers running on systems that would soon no longer be supported by newer servers, taking advantage of the latest technologies and the best performance available in order to meet professional requirements.
With this in mind, I took on the project management
- Definition of needs
- Consultations of different suppliers with different solutions
- Consultation meetings and choice of a hyperconverged solution
- Competition between different solutions
- Scoring and choice of solution
- Reception of equipment and installations
- Configuration of the solution with the help of the chosen service provider
- Migration of all virtual servers to the new infrastructure
- Deployment and project follow-up, and final acceptance
